I have been interested in art since an early age. I started drawing on my book covers and homework during school to  pass the time. Never really being interested in doing my school work, I focused my attention on drawing, art and painting.

My interest in tattooing came with being born and raised on the Southern California Coast where surfers, skaters, punkers, rockers, gangs and bikers are the norm. I have been in the midst of the tattoo society my whole life. I was always surrounded by my family who loves to ride Harley's, race motorcycles and get tattoos. My family encouraged me to follow my dreams as a "professional tattoo artist" from an early beginning.

In 1984 at the age of 11, my mother let someone live with us who did tattoos on our kitchen table, YUCK! Although at the time health precautions were never considered, I was in heaven! He allowed me to watch and taught me the process and how things worked. After seeing the process I began to try a tattoo with a safety pin with thread by hand on my best friend. Bad idea! I tried a couple tattoos with a homemade machine before I met a guy who was really good with a walk man motor if you know what I mean!

After high school I started doing the prison style of tattooing on all the homies in the (805) Ventura County, CA putting in down! I was finally approached by a friend and Professional tattoo artist Mitch Sutton. I started tattooing with professional equipment and took my first gig at a real tattoo shop. It has been a great experience and I am always trying to expand my knowledge of new techniques and equipment.

I have expanded into black n' grey, fantasy, Gothic, and free hand style of tattooing. I am a "Certified Commercial Artist" and continue to work with Commercial Art. So I am very comfortable doing realism and portraits which is what I prefer to do. Color or black depends on the tattoo. With 20 years as a professional Tattoo artist and other extensive art experience I continue to evolve with the tattoo culture, always pushing the creative side of tattoos and art.
